At Joannusmolen, we have been producing the most delicious organic products for almost 30 years. In 1982, in fact, our company became the first organic cereal processor in the Netherlands. Long before the green hype, we were blazing a trail with 100% organic flours, baking mixes and other cereal products. We know our stuff, and follow our hearts. Sustainable entrepreneurship and respect for humans and nature are our top priorities. This always have been and always will be.

Innovative and visionary; the traits of a strong brand

We are able to use our knowledge, long experience and passion for wholefoods to provide our partners with a service that is second-to-none. Each year, based on market analysis and innovation brainstorms, we introduce new products to the market for which there is a definite demand.

 

We produce, for instance, the only completely organic baby food brand (Biobim) that is made in the Netherlands. At the start of the 1990s, we were the first to introduce to the Dutch organic market an instant organic burger mix, followed by the first organic gluten-free flours & baking mixes in 1995 and the first pre-cooked breakfast products in 1998. In 2010, we are focusing on fair trade, with the introduction of an extensive range of organic & fair trade specialities.

Partnership right up to the point of sale

As a producer, we take responsibility for our products right up to the point of sale. Our people regularly advise retailers on optimum shelf display planning and in-store communication. We also engage in constructive dialogue with distributors about desired product launches and the associated support measures.

 

Our pure products, consistent vision, innovative strength and personal approach to working with retailers have helped establish Joannusmolen as a longstanding premium brand in wholefood and health food stores and pharmacies.

 

Our BRC-A certfied production plant delivers worldwide

 

Our team invents, designs and produces most of our products completely independent. Having our own production facilities means that we have complete control over the entire production process. We produce for own brands and under private labels. The family owned business produces for domestic markets, export and private label industry. Our production plants are equipped with state-of-the-art machines and have been certified on BRC-A level.
